APEDA facilitates export of J&K's premium cherries to Singapore

APEDA has facilitated the first export shipment of premium Areko cherries and Scentrose plums from Jammu and Kashmir to Singapore. The move expands the global market for the region's temperate fruits, following earlier exports of fresh cherries and plums to Abu Dhabi and Dubai. APEDA expects the initiative to help growers earn over 50% higher returns than conventional channels.
