Apologise or Hindus will reject you: Shankaracharya on Rahul's Manusmriti remarks

Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati warned Rahul Gandhi against "insulting" Hindu religious texts and asked him to apologise for his remarks on Manusmriti. "If he continues to do this and doesn't apologise, we'll run a campaign that all Hindus should reject Congress," he said. Gandhi claimed that according to Manusmriti, a woman is dependent on men in all stages of life.
