App that lets victims see their stalkers' live location launched in S Korea

The South Korean government launched a mobile application in June, and it lets victims see the live location of their stalkers. The application uses data from electronic ankle monitors of the accused to assess whether they have moved within a two-km radius of the victim. If the stalker comes within a 1 km radius of the victim, authorities are informed.
