Apple apps, in-app purchases to get more expensive in India

Apple on Monday said it is updating the prices of apps and in-app purchases to include the change in taxes and foreign exchange rates. In India, the readjustment includes an equalisation levy of 2% in addition to the existing goods and services tax of 18%. The rates have changed in several countries including India, Indonesia, Brazil, South Africa and Russia.
