Apple bans 'non-official' & entertainment coronavirus apps from App Store

Setting stricter guidelines around coronavirus-related apps on its App Store, the company said it will ban all such apps that are not submitted by "recognized entities". These entities include government organizations, health-focused NGOs, firms deeply credentialed in health issues, and medical or educational institutions. Entertainment apps or games themed around the pandemic will be rejected.
