Apple beats Samsung to become world's top smartphone seller

Apple on Tuesday beat Samsung to become the world's top smartphone seller for the first time in five years. Apple sold more than 7.8 crore iPhones in the fiscal 2017 first quarter ended December 31, 2016, beating Samsung's sale of 7.7 crore smartphones during the period. The company also posted an all-time high quarterly revenue of $78.4 billion.
