Apple buys Canada's DarwinAI, adds staff to AI division: Report

Apple has bought Canadian startup DarwinAI and added dozens of its employees to its AI division, Bloomberg reported. The purchase was completed earlier this year but the deal value hasn't been disclosed. AI researcher Alexander Wong, who helped build DarwinAI's business, has also joined Apple as a director in its AI group. DarwinAI aims to make neural network models faster.
