Apple caps bug bounty submissions as AI bug hunters overwhelm security team

Apple has limited the number of potentially dangerous software bugs researchers can submit to its internal security team, the Financial Times reported. The move comes amid a surge in AI-generated reports from amateur bug hunters that can hallucinate security risks. Apple pays researchers up to $5 million (around ₹47 crore) under its bug bounty programme launched last year.
