Apple claims CCI exceeding its powers, says 'It's trying to usurp Delhi HC's authority'

Apple claimed competition regulator CCI is trying to exceed its powers by pushing it to submit financials in an antitrust case, Reuters reported. CCI has sought Apple's financials since 2024, reportedly to calculate penalties in the case, which Apple has challenged in the HC. "CCI [scheduling] final hearing represents escalation in its efforts to usurp Honourable Court's authority," Apple said.
