Apple dethroned as biggest smartphone seller in China

Apple was dethroned as China's biggest smartphone seller in 2024, data from research firm Canalys shows. Apple saw its largest-ever annual sales decline in China, involving contraction in all four quarters, including a 25% drop in the final quarter. For the full year, Vivo captured a 17% market share in China, followed by Huawei at 16% and Apple at 15%.
