Apple, Google remove foreign eSIM apps Holafly, Airalo: Reports

Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store have reportedly removed Airalo and Holafly, apps offering international eSIM services, in India. The action was taken following orders from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), as per reports. Both apps were reportedly offering services without the required clearance and their eSIMs were being misused by fraudsters to commit cybercrimes.
