Apple itself leaks foldable iPhone by mistake

Apple revealed clues to the possible launch of its foldable iPhone during WWDC 2026. Software researcher M1Astra uncovered terms like 'foldState', 'mechanicalAngleDegrees' and 'angleDegrees', which describe a folding device's behaviour, in iOS 27 code strings. Apple is also allowing expansion of certain widgets into a full-screen format, which could make more sense on a foldable device.
