Apple loses lead AI robotics researcher Jian Zhang to Meta

Apple has lost another key talent as its lead AI researcher for robotics, Jian Zhang, left the company to join Meta. This comes amid the recent talent exodus in the firm, including its AI models team head, Ruoming Pang, who joined Meta for a $200 million package. Three more researchers are reportedly leaving the iPhone-maker to join OpenAI and Anthropic.
