Huawei has overtaken Apple in total shipments of wrist-worn devices during the first nine months of 2024, according to IDC's latest Worldwide Wearables Quarterly Tracker report. In the first three quarters of this year, Huawei shipped 23.6 million smartwatches and wristbands, compared to Apple's 22.5 million units shipped worldwide. Xiaomi ranked 3rd in global smartwatch shipments and Samsung 4th.
