Apple may bring 'Face ID' to Macs, as hinted by references to its TrueDepth camera, which makes this unlock feature possible, in macOS Big Sur. As per 9to5Mac, the third beta version of Big Sur contains codes supporting "PearlCamera," the codename used for TrueDepth and Face ID when Apple was working on iPhone X. It also found the word "FaceDetect".
