Apple officially adds 3rd-gen iPad mini to obsolete category

Apple has officially added both the WiFi and cellular models of the third-generation iPad mini into the obsolete product category. It will no longer be eligible for repairs as service providers cannot order parts for the device. "Products are considered obsolete when Apple stopped distributing them for sale more than seven years ago," according to Apple's support page.
