Apple patent application shows touchscreen keyboard one can feel

Apple has filed a patent application for a virtual keyboard that feels like a mechanical one upon touch-typing. The application details a combination of haptic motors and electrostatic charges for the purpose. As per the application, each "key" would emit electrostatic charge to simulate the feeling of friction between a user's finger and a mechanical key's edge or concaved centre.
