Apple on Wednesday posted its highest ever quarterly net income of $18.4 billion in the December quarter, a 2.2% jump against the corresponding period last year. Revenue rose around 1.74% to a record $75.9 billion against the year-ago period. Further, Apple sold a record 74.8 million iPhones, marginally higher than the 74.5 million sales in the same period last year.
