Apple removes Kromix app that let users create AI deepfake porn

Apple took down Kromix app from its App Store after 'WIRED' reported that it let users create AI-generated pornographic deepfakes of real people. Apple said Kromix appeared to have added the prohibited content after passing the App Store's initial review. Earlier, WIRED had reported Meta ran ad campaign for the app targeting male users, which was later taken down.
