Apple restricts 'Everyone' option in AirDrop to 10 minutes in China

Apple has restricted the "Everyone" option in the AirDrop file-sharing feature to ten minutes in iOS 16.1.1 update on iPhones purchased in China. While Apple didn’t comment on why this was done in China, it's said that protesters in the country used the service to spread posters opposing Xi Jinping and the Chinese government.
