Apple runs sweatshops in China: Actor at Golden Globes in CEO Tim Cook's presence

Actor-comedian Ricky Gervais, while hosting the 2020 Golden Globe Awards, targetted Apple even as CEO Tim Cook sat in the audience. He said, "Apple rolled into TV game with a superb drama about...importance of dignity and doing the right thing, made by a company that runs sweatshops in China." Gervais was referring to Apple TV+ flagship series 'The Morning Show'.
