Apple shares fall 5% after price hikes on MacBook, iPad

Apple shares fell as low as 5.3% at 227.67 as against previous day's low after the company announced price hikes for its flagship iPad, iMac and home devices on Thursday. The hike came amid a surge in memory and storage chip costs due to AI. Price of MacBook Pro M5 Max (14-inch) has been increased by ₹1 lakh to ₹4,99,900.
