Apple to let iPhones accept payment directly with tap of a credit card: Report

Apple is reportedly planning a new service that will allow small businesses to accept payments directly on their iPhones. Instead of using external payment terminals, merchants will be able to accept payments by tapping a credit card or another iPhone on the back of their device, Bloomberg reported citing sources. Apple has been working on this since 2020, Bloomberg added.
