Apple to let users pick Gemini or Claude across iOS 27: Report

Apple will allow users to select third-party AI models for tasks like generating and editing text and images across its iOS 27 features, Bloomberg reported. The update will let users choose from AI providers that opt in by adding compatibility through App Store applications. Apple has also been internally testing integrations with Google's Gemini and Anthropic's Claude AI models.
