Apple treasurer, who handled $200 billion money pile, retires after 35 years: Report

Apple's 62-year-old corporate treasurer and keeper of its nearly $200 billion money pile has retired from the iPhone maker after about 35 years, Bloomberg reported citing sources. Gary Wipfler stepped down in recent weeks, but Apple hasn't announced his move. Wipfler oversaw Apple's cash balance, investments and capital-return programmes. His retirement ends a career that spanned several CEOs.
