Apple unveils macOS 'Big Sur' with new control and notification centre

Apple has unveiled the next version of macOS, the macOS 10.16 which is officially called 'Big Sur', named after a mountainous section of the Central Coast of California. The new operating system features a new Control Centre to change brightness and turn on 'Do Not Disturb' and a new notification centre. Apps including Mail, Photos, Notes, and iWork received redesigns.
