Apple wins $539 mn from Samsung over patent infringement

Apple has won $539 million from Samsung after a US jury ruled the latter should pay the amount for copying patented iPhone features. In the case, which has been ongoing since 2011, Samsung was found liable and previously paid $399 million to Apple. Apple claims Samsung made $3.3 billion in revenue and $1 billion in profit on the patent-infringing phones.
