Appointment letters, timely wage payments made mandatory under new labour codes

Under the labour laws that have been made effective from today, appointment letters to all workers has been made compulsory. Further, it will now be mandatory for employers to provide timely wages. It will ensure financial stability, reduce work stress and boost overall morale of the workers, the government said.
