Apps like Hotels.com, Expedia record iPhone screens: Report

A few iPhone apps including 'Abercrombie & Fitch', 'Hotels.com' and 'Expedia' are recording screens without user consent, a TechCrunch report claimed. Some app makers embed "session replay" technology into their apps to reportedly send recordings to companies for data analysis. A few of these apps reportedly leaked user data even though they are meant to hide the fields containing it.
