Are we saying rape is end of woman's life: Swara on Jauhar scene in 'Padmaavat'

Swara Bhasker talked about the open letter she wrote after the release of 'Padmaavat' in 2018, criticising the Jauhar scene. "Are we saying rape is end of a woman’s life?" she asked. "If I were a rape survivor, what is this film telling me? I'd feel like a coward that I didn’t commit suicide to save my honour," added Swara.
