Argentina, who won the 2022 FIFA World Cup, have become the world number one team in the latest FIFA rankings. France, who finished runners-up in the tournament, are now ranked second. Brazil are now the third-ranked team, while Belgium are fourth and England are fifth. Portugal are ranked ninth.
