Argentina declares July 15 National Football Teams Day to honour World Cup semi win over England

Argentine Football Association (AFA) has declared July 15 as National Football Teams Day, honouring Argentina's comeback win over England in FIFA World Cup 2026 semi-final. Argentina side overturned a one-goal deficit through late goals from Enzo Fernández and Lautaro Martínez. AFA said the tribute also recognises Argentina’s youth, women’s, men’s, futsal, beach soccer and field football teams.
