Argentina have scored two or more goals in 13 straight FIFA World Cup matches, the longest such streak in tournament history. Uruguay are second with 11 consecutive matches between 1930 and 1954. This comes after Lionel Messi-led Argentina defeated England 2-1 in the FIFA World Cup 2026 semi-final and will face Spain in the final on July 20 (IST).
