Argentina to pay for Chinese imports in yuan instead of dollars

Argentina has announced that it will pay for Chinese imports in yuan (Chinese currency) instead of US dollars to relieve the country's diminishing dollar reserves. Around $790 million of monthly imports will be paid in yuan after April, the government said. Argentina is battling critical levels in its dollar reserves amid a sharp decline in agricultural exports following a drought.
