Arguing on X may cause users to get more content they hate: Study

A US study found that X's "For You" algorithm showed users more content that clashed with their values. According to the study of 715 active users, X showed Democrats more opposing content than Republicans. Researchers noted that argumentative replies to posts that clash with users' views may cause the platform's algorithm to recommend more similar posts.
