Ariana Grande to become first honorary citizen of Manchester

American singer Ariana Grande is set to become the first honorary citizen of Manchester for helping to raise almost £3 million for victims of the Manchester Arena attack. The announcement for an honorary citizenship came as officials announced plans for an event to recognise the "great many selfless acts and demonstrations of community spirit" following the terror attack.
