Armoured tank-like dinosaur used camouflage to hide: Study

Scientists studying a 110-million-year-old fossil, described as "the best-preserved armoured dinosaur ever found", have revealed that the plant-eating dinosaur used camouflage to avoid larger meat-eating dinosaurs. The use of countershading, having lighter underside than back, suggests the 18-foot-long dinosaur "equivalent of a tank" weighing over 1,300 kg faced predation stress, scientists said.
