Arms deal with UAE to support 7,000 domestic jobs: French official

An arms deal sealed on Friday between France and the United Arab Emirates worth €17 billion will directly support 7,000 domestic jobs, a French defence official said. The deal includes the largest ever overseas sale of France's Rafale warplanes, and will secure the supply chain of more fighter jets for a decade, the official added.
