Army & Air Force versions of Dhruv helicopters cleared for operations

Officials said on Thursday that the government cleared the Army and Air Force versions of the Advanced Light Helicopter Dhruv for operations. The fleet of over 330 Dhruv helicopters, which is operated by the Army, Navy, the Air Force and the Coast Guard, was grounded in January after a chopper had crashed. HAL has produced more than 340 Dhruv helicopters.
