Army cleared to resume ALH Dhruv flights after Pahalgam attack

The Defence Ministry has permitted the Army to resume operations of its grounded Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH) 'Dhruv' in Kashmir following the Pahalgam terror attack. The helicopters will support intensified counter-terrorism operations in the region. The entire Dhruv helicopter fleet had been grounded since January 5, after a fatal crash involving a Coast Guard ALH in Gujarat.
