Army rejects 783-kg milk powder supplied by Punjab dairy cooperative

The Indian Army rejected 783 kg of milk powder after it was found to be "non-compliant with the prescribed standards". The samples were supplied by Ludhiana District Cooperative Milk Producers Union, which operates under Punjab's apex dairy body, Milkfed, owner of popular brand Verka. The Army also rejected 7.2 kg of arhar dal and 46.8 kg of dehydrated potato cubes.
