Army stops personnel from uploading content on Instagram as it issues guidelines

The Indian Army has issued guidelines for personnel to use social media platforms and said that Instagram is to be used only for viewing and monitoring. "No comments/ views will be communicated on Instagram," it said. They are banned from exchanging classified information on Skype, WhatsApp, Telegram and Signal. Uploading user-generated content on X, YouTube, Quora and Instagram isn't allowed.
