Army surgeons perform 220 free eye surgeries at village along LoC

Armed Forces Medical Services surgeons performed 220 sight-restoring surgeries during a two-day surgical camp under Operation Drishti at Kupwara's Tangdhar. Held at an underground operation theatre in a shelling-prone area near Line of Control (LoC), the camp mainly involved cataract surgeries, along with retinal procedures. This was the 10th edition of first-of-its-kind Mega Eye Surgical Camp.
