Arpita Ghosh appointed TMC West Bengal general secretary

Trinamool Congress on Friday appointed its former Rajya Sabha MP Arpita Ghosh as West Bengal general secretary. Notably, this comes two days after she resigned from Rajya Sabha. "There is very little space to work in the Rajya Sabha...because of the pandemic, everything is stopped. I wanted to work for the party and the people, so I resigned," Ghosh said.
