Artemis II astronauts see Moon's far side for 1st time, say 'Not the Moon we're used to seeing'

Artemis II astronauts caught their first glimpses of the Moon's far side while more than halfway to their destination. NASA astronaut Christina Koch described the difference, noting that "the darker parts just aren't quite in the right place". She added, "Something about you senses that this is not the Moon that I am used to seeing," Koch said.
