Artemis II to send hi-res videos from Moon using lasers: NASA

NASA is planning to create a laser-based Optical Communications System (O2O) to develop a new high-quality communication system for the Artemis II mission around the Moon. NASA would obtain high-resolution images and videos from Moon using the new system. In contrast to traditional radio wave systems, laser communication would enable exchange of more information in a single transmission.
