Artisans make rakhis using colourful natural stones in Agra

Artisans in Agra are shaping and polishing natural stone pieces by hand to be used for rakhis for Raksha Bandhan. Handicraft trader Adnan Sheikh said stones such as Brazilian agate, malachite, mother of pearl, jasper and lapis are being used to make the rakhis. "Different coloured stones are used to give the rakhis an attractive and premium look," he added.
