Artist crafts Goddess Durga idol made of 8,000 plastic bottle caps

An Artist, Pradip Kumar Ghosh, has created a five-foot Goddess Durga idol crafted from over 8,000 discarded plastic bottle caps in Assam's Dhubri. "I aim to send a...message about climate issues. I use plastic waste to craft Goddess Durga idols, highlighting...the role of art in reducing pollution," Ghosh said. He stated this year's Navratri theme is based on environmental consciousness.
