Arun Govil, who played Ram in 'Ramayan', to contest Lok Sabha election from BJP

BJP has fielded Ramayan actor Arun Govil from Uttar Pradesh's Meerut seat in the Lok Sabha election beginning April 19. Govil played Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan. The party released the fifth list of 111 candidates for the Lok Sabha election on Sunday. Actress Kangana Ranaut has been fielded from Mandi seat in Himachal Pradesh.
