Arunachal Democratic Party (ADP) has merged with Indian National Congress, with all members joining the party during an induction ceremony in Arunachal Pradesh. The merger marks a political realignment in the state, although it does not alter Congress’s current strength in the Assembly. ADP president Tami Pangu said the decision was guided by ideological conviction and confidence in the Congress.
